The Golden Stage Inn was one of the highlights of our Vermont trip. Mike and Julie are wonderful hosts and have clearly put so much care into making the entire experience special. Our room was cozy, spacious, and beautifully kept, with a fireplace, lovely bathroom, and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in while traveling. Breakfast alone is a reason to stay here. The two-course breakfasts were phenomenal, with fresh, local ingredients, juice, and plenty of coffee, all served in a gorgeous sunroom overlooking the Vermont scenery. Julie also helped us plan our day exploring Woodstock and the surrounding fall foliage, and every recommendation she gave us was spot on. The personal touches and hospitality really set this place apart. We left already talking about when we could come back. An absolutely wonderful Vermont inn!

We chose this bed and breakfast based on others’ reviews- and you should, too! Our room was lovely and homey and had everything you’d want or need available. Mike and Julie are spectacularly thoughtful hosts. We felt welcomed, cared for, and a little bit spoiled :) during our three day stay. Will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to VT!

I had a wonderful stay at the Vermont Golden Stage Inn B&B. The standout feature was the excellent customizable multi-course breakfast, which catered to my preferences and set the tone for each day. The room was impeccably clean, and the inn's beautiful property offered a tranquil atmosphere. I felt safe and cozy throughout my stay, thanks to the welcoming hosts who went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Vermont.

Restful

Great stay, the hosts were very accommodating. Offered recommendations to do while I was in the area. Allowed use of a refrigerator; coffee, tea and cookies were offered all day long. Vermont is a very green, unpopulated state. Will visit again.
