Lovely staff, nice clean rooms, air conditioning worked great. Only thing giving this a 4* is the bed/pillows. I personally did not find the bed very comfortable and I like a thicker pillow. Other than that the place was amazing. Great location.

The hotel was perfect for our needs and very centrally located. Didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy it, but the rooftop space was perfection.

Friendly staff that waited past closing hours for our arrival. AC worked great in our room, we had a fridge and a 2 gallon water tank that was refilled when needed. Hotel was taken care of and cleaned regularly. In a fun central location right next to a market and many places to eat !!

Great place in a fantastic location in the middle of everything. The staff was very nice, helpful, and responsive. Great outdoor atmosphere with the pool and open space to hang out at, and the rooftop is worth spending time on. The rooms were comfortable and spacious as well. The amenities in the room, like shampoo and soap, could be better for the type of hotel, as they were cheap in quality and limited in the amount provided. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would stay again.

My friend and I loved our week stay at Barefoot Caye Caulker! Ed and Ivan were very friendly and helpful. We rented bikes at the hotel one day and that was convenient. The location of the hotel was perfect. They also had a water dispenser in the room. We’d definitely come back!

Stayed 8 days at the Barefoot CC Hotel with my son, his wife and their 16, 9 year old boys. I'm 70. We had an amazing holiday thanks to Yvan (manager) and Sam who went above and beyond to help arrange snorkel, land tours and provide lots of great suggestions for dealing with local events, ferries and everyday life on CC island. The 2 bedroom suite, 1 bath, kitchenette was great and when asked to fix the toilet running, stock up on towels, coffee, paper towels, etc. they were very quick to respond. The small, but super clean pool was enjoyed by our 9yr. old daily. Daily routine for me was my morning coffee on the roof-top that allowed me to see the sun rise/set and a clear view of the coast line and fishing boats, island life. The location stands out for being close to all amenities (The Split, grocery stores, ferry, bike paths, coastline, tarpon feeding, stingrays, tour companies, etc.) I hope to return soon to the Barefoot CC and highly recommend it!! Thank you Yvan and Sam!!

Our stay at Barefoot Hotel was very comfortable. The views were great and location was absolutely perfect for spending days out and about! Hotel staff were also extremely friendly and accommodating! Main drawback would be how long it took to get warm water in the shower and some ceiling damage in the room. Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience there and would recommend staying there 😊

Overall the hotel was great. Location is perfect staff that we met all were friendly. It didn't get 5 star due to the beds being horrible!! We tried both beds in the room and both were the same felt like we were on a board you could feel everything through.

Rooms clean, location exceptional, breakfast available as advertised, shower door don’t shut properly, cleaning service each day. Overall staying is good, hotel condition is little wearing.

The room that we were assigned was on the third floor, up 32 stairs. I was traveling with my 74 year old Dad, who has hip displacement. The manager was unsympathetic, although we were scheduled to be there for 7 days. After Expedia inquired about my check in experience online, Expedia contacted the manager unbeknownst to me. The next day, I was accused and berated by the manager for submitting a nasty review of his property, when I did not. I felt extremely uncomfortable going in the office after that to even get the continental breafast offered. I feel like he wanted us to leave the property. We had no water dispenser in the room, like the other rooms. We had one plug that we could use and that was the explanation for no water dispenser. I feel like we had the worst room in the whole place. The manager kept repeating "that's the room that YOU booked on Expedia" in a condescending manner. In addition, the manager was very upset that Expedia contacted him in an effort to help us get off of that third floor; which was the reason we were never moved from that room. I know that I booked a room on the first floor, but we were denied. I have NEVER felt disrespected like that in any hotel that I have ever stayed in. We were extremely disappointed.

The hotel was walkable to many restaurants and The Split. There was shampoo but no conditioner in the shower. Water took 15 minutes or so to get warm and never got hot all 4 days we stayed. There was a drinking water cooler in the room and mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave. Nice pool and bar area.

The hotel was clean, the staff were courteous, and it's physically in a great location on the island. My only criticism is the strong smell of damp mold in the room. No mold was visibly present and the room was cleaned with bleach, cause you could smell it, but when the bleach smell wore off the mold smell was a little overwhelming. All things considered, I'd stay here again, because the Pros outweigh the Cons.
