"Acceptable place to sleep. Close to Del Lago. Internet was practically non existent and ATT phone service was poor. Remodeling. Would not stay again "

"The AC/HEAT unit sounded like a jet engine. The room was hot when I arrived. The cove base was missing or coming off the wall in several places. The door hardware was very loose and I’m sure the room I was in could be broken into very easily. The tv didn’t work properly. The parking area was in dire need of repair. There was no included breakfast"

"We loved everything about our stay at Plum Point. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The drinks and food from their in-house restaurant were high-quality and delicious. We stayed in early May when the weather is not the best, and we still fully enjoyed the experience and are looking to book another stay as soon as we can. We highly recommend Plum Point!"

"The is an exceptionally beautiful property. If you love history and have a love for historic properties this is your place. Beautiful period decorated rooms. "Hotel is very dated and worn. Elevators were dirty and only one worked…. Very slow. Ice machine on 4th floor not working. Check in and checkout easy and friendly staff."

"For almost $200 a night, I expected more from this place. The room was nice, but there was no microwave or mini fridge and the TV was basic. I like the character of the bathroom, but the tile grout was dirty and the one towel hook was about to come off. The staff was nice, but never at the front desk. There was a sign to call them if you needed help which I can understand if they're running on a skeleton staff. However, whenever I would call the number, it was answered "hello" like a personal...

"Grounds are gorgeous, European look"

"Awesome place with lots of charm! Staff is very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed the hot tub. Location is a short driving distance to a lot of cool things to do in Watkins Glen & Ithaca and of course the state park right in Trumansburg. We are both plant based and it was nice that they had options for us in the morning. They even gave us a bottle of champagne as we were celebrating our engagement."

"Staff was efficient, friendly, and most helpful. They went above and beyond in securing a refund from expedia when we had a family emergency, as we had to leave a day early. The breakfast was excellent as well."

"Arriving at the Showboat Hotel our room was not acceptably clean. The floor was sticky and covered with dirt, mini fridge had mold, and the balcony had dirt/bird droppings that was clearly not kept up with. I called the hotel desk which is not in on the weekends, after speaking with hospitality we were sent a housekeeper.
