"The room was spacious and had everything needed for our stay. The pool and hot tub were clean and we were able to relax on the furniture near the pool. There were plenty of pool towels to use. The breakfast was good. Plenty of options for the kids. The waffle maker was a hit. The staff was very friendly."

"This property is undergoing a remodel but the interior looks very nice and modern. The exterior still needs work. We had a room overlooking the ocean but there was a large wood framed plexiglass barrier for safety. "

"The staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. Definitely do not recommend. House keeping never came to clean the room or change the sheets and I had been there for 3 whole days. When I got to my room my bed had a very nasty stain on the sheets, and no toilet paper in the restroom, I felt obligated to take a photo of course. Also around 1AM they had plumping issues that made an extremely loud noise you could hear it on the entire 2nd floor for 30 minutes. I also took a video of that. I...

"I stayed at the 1620 for the first time 2 years ago- for a work related conference. We chose not to rebook as the 1620 really needs a refresh. My stay this week confirmed my initial impression 2 years ago. There is def. areas of the hotel that need repainting. The bedspreads in the rooms are...shabby, stained. The lamps need to be updated (so you can charge phones/MACs). The bathrooms are fine. towels fluffy and white, but smelled of mildew. Staff were very helpful and kind."
