"The lights were only half working. Couldn't close the bathroom door and we had no Air condition All night long.
And we're still charged full priced for our room offered or given no discount and they knew that we had to sleep in those conditions, extremely hot and extremely uncomfortable. We booked two rooms. Both were extremely unbearably hot with the A.C being out."

"Nice hotel, enjoyed tiki bar and pool, decent breakfast, small tubes for soap and shampoo could be bigger, have seen dispensers at other hotel that work nicely"
"The room was great. Very clean and comfortable. The restaurants were all within walking distance. There was a cute little area of shops to visit. We always look for a place with a pool. After driving many hours to get there, the pool, which they tout as spring fed, the last of its kind, was actually a fish infested moss and other stuff that flows into it from the river gross pool of water. It was awful!"
"If you still want to grab a piece of that old Florida feel before it's gone...check this girchy hotel out. It's scheduled to be torn down sometime in the future and replaced with one of our fine Florida concrete mausoleum style hotels.
There might be some paint peeling, some things might be outdated and it's definitely not the Hilton. But it's old Florida at its finest...on the bay with a nice little bar and restaurant where you won't overpay for the food and drinks.
Grab a memory and take it home with you while you can."
"The staff were amazing. Anything you need, they made it happen. We stayed in a single cabin & couldn’t use the charcoal grill because of the current burn ban. There is a stove and oven, but we wanted to grill. The front desk had a gas grill brought right to us. Each spot comes with your own personal golf cart to ride off-roading. We brought out baby bunny with us for a small fee & there was plenty of room for all of us. We will definitely be back."
"The floors are dirty if you're going to walk, barefoot I don't know why they're not kept up. No ice machine working. Door needs to have a seal at the bottom. It's really open to any kind of insects/lizards that can possibly walk-through. Breakfast wasn't too bad basic continental. It's good for a day or two stay."
