"Friendly and helpful staff. No frills. Convenient parking. SUPER CLEAN ROOM! Comfortable bed and pillows. No carpeting. Our room was very simple, basic, nice. My wife is a germaphobe and a neat freak. We carry cleaning supplies whenever we travel. It is common for her to clean our hotel room before we get comfortable. She did her ritual “clean check” as soon as we walked in. Our room was SPOTLESS! SUPER CLEAN! My wife is not easy to impress, and she was very impressed and even astounded at how clean the entire room was. We were charged a deposit of $200 dollars above and beyond the $117 for the room in case there was damage to the room or smoking. Of course, the $200 is refunded back to your card after your stay, so…. don’t freaking break anything, and smoke outside if you’re addicted to the cancer sticks. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. Appreciated. Without a doubt, we will continue to stay here when we visit Winnipeg. We have not found many, if any, hotels that have been as clean as the Queen Bee. THANK YOU!"

"The hotel was clean and the experience was generally positive. My son loved hanging out in the pool. BUT there is no regular driver on call for the airport shuttle. It was unclear that the shuttle needed to be booked ahead, so we ended up having to take a cab. The hotel paid for the cab. But it was frustrating and not a very clear process. "

"Basis breakfast options. Communal servings of jam, peanut butter, yogurt likely don’t meet health standard requirements. "
