"What a gem this place is! We stayed here for one night on our way to Rome and wished we'd stayed longer. It is restful, quiet, and a quintessential Umbrian village. Orvieto is a quick 10-15 minute drive. Room 4 was wonderful, spacious, spectacular view, incredibly comfortable bed and the best air conditioning and shower! on-site breakfast was lovely with tarts and cakes made from scratch by the breakfast hostess. We HIGHLY recommend this place!"

"Wonderful hotel in the heart of Montepulchiano. Hotel staff treated us like family. Arrival instructions were clear and easy to manage. Appreciated the parking, even tho it was shortly off-site. Our room was spacious and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the balcony/view and the rooftop patio, where we enjoyed the bottle of wine we picked up at the little winery tasting room just across the ally from our hotel entrance. "The property was exactly as described. The building is old but the bathroom was brand new and lovely and the views were fantastic. The little bar and restaurant are great for views and drinks. Finding the car park and coordinating that was harder than expected. it was hard to reach anyone prior to arrival. After arrival however, the young woman who checked us in was very helpful and lovely and went above and beyond to resolve the parking issue."
