"I actually really enjoyed my stay! Everything was tip top. Very very clean and the beds were nice & comfy. A plus was also that they had a mini fridge and coffee maker I👌most hotels don’t provide that anymore. Can’t forget the shower. Omg! One of the best showers Ive had in my life hahaha the shower head was AMAZING! The onlyyyy con was the parking. We have a big family SUV and couldn’t fit anywhere BUT the staff helped accommodate us and it worked out great! We will definitely be staying here more often. 8/10"

"We read some questionable reviews before staying here. I'm not sure if they reviewed the wrong property or what, because we have nothing but good things to say about this place. The rooms were extremely clean. Beds were comfortable. The lobby and restaurants looked very upscale. The pool area was wonderful. The pool was huge and they did a great job maintaining the area (lights all around, very island feel to the pool area). The staff was extremely helpful when we needed more washcloths. They delivered them to the room within minutes. When we went out in the morning, the staff came and cleaned again. The hotel is not brand new, but they have a done a fantastic job maintaining and updating it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The sink area in the bathroom was a tad small and we did not have "sheer curtains" to pull over our windows if we didn't want the heavy blinds closed all day (we were on the first floor, so would have liked the sheer blinds to pull while we were in there during the day). Other than those small details, everything was spot on. If you are looking for an affordable, clean, well maintained place to stay in San Diego, stay here!!!!!!"

"Very clean room, friendly staff and amazing location. Great solo and the front desk are super accommodating. I know some reviews said it could be nosiy, farthest from the truth. Was very quiet with a more relaxed environment."

"First time staying at this hotel branch, I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the check-in went. It was a very busy time for check-in staff explanation of location of rooms was seamless extra towels arrived without asking. the cleaning. Staff was excellent. This says a hotel that is very good for kids.I will absolutely stay at this location again. I only WISH they provided breakfast or at least offer breakfast for sale. Otherwise I was very happy with my stay."

"The check in process took some time due to long lines. However, the front desk staff Chris was friendly and helpful. Our room with 2 queen beds was clean, no unpleasant smell, the bed and the pillows were comfortable and the sheets were soft. The bathroom was small though we appreciate the walk in shower. Room darkening curtains is a good feature too. We spent some time in the monkey bar outdoor patio and it was very relaxing. The chairs were comfortable, the umbrellas were big enough to provide shade but the best part is your view of the pool with the breeze making you doze off in your seat. We ordered lunch at THE MRKT and the food was delicious. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The Lavazza decaf latte was divine and it did not upset my stomach at all. The only downside to this hotel are the 6 person limit elevators. We only had 2 in our building so the wait was really long. Some guests were irritated so they ended up using the stairs. This hotel is family and pet friendly. Overall, we had a lovely stay at this hotel."
