"WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY! Two couples- two rooms. We departed from the Rome train station and the management of La Lira had sent us directions to their recommended shuttle service. As the directions noted, we met our shuttle service (35 Euros) and took a short ride to our B&B. We were met by Alex who helped check us in and gave each couple three keys. "Staying here was an incredible experience! Loris and Ambra are perfect hosts. Loris helped me arrange transportation to and from the hotel - and he carried all of our bags to and from the hotel! Ambra kept us in good food and coffee. We didn't meet Rita, but we ate her delicious cakes. Everyone was so friendly and attentive to our needs! I would give them a higher rating if I could! The room has an incredible view of the waterfront, and the hotel is beautifully placed near the downtown...

"Staff was super friendly. Location for our cruise was great. 13 minute walk with luggage to cruise bus stop to get picked up. Breakfast was toast, cheese, salami, yogurt, cereal, and coffee. I would stay here in the future. Grocery stores about a 3/4 mile walk. Plenty of places to eat close by Train station about 10 minute walk."

"A small family-run hotel with just a few rooms. The owner asked about my arrival time and greeted us at the entrance. Exceptionally clean room with free snack and drinks. Walking distance to McDonald and pharmacies. Close to cruise terminal but you cannot walk to the ship. Will have to take the free shuttle which the owner is happy to explain. The air con was not too reactive to adjustment so we open the window. Overall it’s a pleasant stay. "
