"This property is owner operated and your host Phillipe is quite charming. The property is deep in the hills above Aosta. There are no restaurants or markets. Nothing. The charm of being there is that you can have a nice home cooked meal and breakfast in a 14th century building. The beds were comfy with toasty blankets. We left the windows opened as the temps plummeted. It’s worth taking a walk around the neighborhood. It’s altogether about a 1/2 mile but enjoyable. "

"We had a great stay here. The staff was courteous and professional. The room was very stylish and cozy. A bit of a squeeze trying to open two large check in suitcases, but overall a great room. The rainfall shower head was fantastic and the hairdryer is actually strong unlike other hotels. There is no AC, but you can crack open the main windows to let in the crisp mountain air. "This is hands down one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. The breakfast buffet is epic and the spa is very well appointed with multiple pools and sauna options. Our room was also impressive with modern and comfortable amenities capped off by a view of the Matterhorn!"
