We arrived relatively late in town around Christmas time. Unfortunately, our first room was not what we had requested and had a major issue: the breakfast kitchen ventilation was venting directly into our room. We were woken up around 6:00 a.m. by a very strong bacon and sausage smell, which made the room uncomfortable.
To the hotel’s credit, the situation was resolved the next day and we were moved to a different room that was significantly better. The difference between the two rooms was significant, both in the same main building .
The location, however, is excellent—just off the Main Square and right next to the Christmas market, which was incredibly convenient and festive. The hotel is also located along a charming winter alley, which added a really nice holiday atmosphere.
Once the room issue was resolved, we truly enjoyed our stay and our time in this beautiful little town.
