"I needed an overnight stay on a trip from Georgia to Minnesota. This place seemed quaint, and it is. The grounds are very nice and well kept. There is a cute gift shop and a restaurant on site. The room however...was pretty archaic. Rustic and cabin like, but if you are looking for hot water, a place to plug in a device, forget it. I had to plug the coffee pot in on the floor to use it. No outlets located conveniently. The worst of it was when we pulled the trundle bed out and found a chewed up frito bag and mouse droppings. The bathtub had bar soap from a prior resident. There was a tip envelope for the maid service. Audacious! We slept on our own blanket to keep from getting dirty. Not recommended until they do some reno and cleaning. "

"They only have 3 types of donuts for breakfast. No decaf coffee for those of us that have heart issues. They do have some decaf in room. None at breakfast. Not what i expected after paying $158 a night."

"Staff was friendly and made sure to say hi or good morning. Room was clean. It’s the little things that matter"

"The room was old dingy, musty, furniture is old and beat up. Not to mention all the shady people roaming in the hallways in their underwear. I only stayed one of the two nights that i paid for. I took the loss on 2nd day for another place where I felt safer and was able to sleep."

"Staff was friendly and welcoming. Basically pretty clean, except for refrigerator ~ something had been spilled by previous occupants and had not been cleaned by housekeeping. Breakfast was good - decaf coffee was barely warm - some items had been cleaned out by the early leaving guests and not replenished."
