"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. "This is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Amazing breakfast and dinner were included with our stay. Convenient to main shopping and dining street and bus station. Only issue was lack of AC or even ceiling fans (they did provide a Dyson airblade which sort of helped) for climate control. The balcony slider provided some relief from the heat, but not enough for anyone sleeping in interior room of family suite."

"The property is located in the most stunning area, within the foothills of Mont Blanc. You will not be disappointed with the view from the hotel, or the pool. We paid slightly more for a mountain view room which was impeccable. Hotel boasts complementary kids room with toys, foosball table, pool table, arcade games, a gym, the pool, sauna & jacuzzi.
