"Our stay here was great. It was very clean, comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the restaurant was nice too."

"Clean and comfortable room. Restaurant in name only - offered tuna salad, croquettes or eggs only. Bizarre. No other restaurants open nearby. Managed to get them to make omelettes (15€ each). Very quiet location. "

"Would recommend this stay anytime. Staff was very help full. I was doing the camino and got to recoger for next day."

"Casa San Nicolás may be the best hostal I’ve stayed in along the Camino de Santiago. The owner, Jose, is very hospitable and he and his wife have done a nice job of making the rooms comfortable while retaining the medieval charm of the building. I highly recommend staying here if you are passing through Molinaseca."

"The proprietors were great."

"Amazing and affordable hotel in the heart of Astorga. Except for the long stairs to the parking lot, everything was excellent. Strongly recommend!"

"Se siente como en casa"

"Great location near the castle, with secure garage parking for motorcycles. It’s an older property but reasonably well maintained and was ideal for our 2 night stay. Breakfast was simple and could be better but overall everything was fine. "

"Air conditioner did not work, neither the fridge. Check in was terrible, took forever. Location is ok, close enough. We left as soon as we could."

"Location is superb, hotel is nice but a bit dated, staff very friendly"

"Wonderful, very helpful staff, and good location just outside of town center"

"Good location 5 mins from bus station and centre. Arrived early, someone kindly dealt with me (very cold day). Room etc fine apart from poor (ducted)heating system that you had to leave on (the fan) all the time but which made little difference."
