Very special place to stay! We stayed in the Marquise room and felt like royalty. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond regarding all aspects of our stay including shuttle service to and from the airport, customized day tour, and the amazing breakfast in their restaurant.

This property was perfectly located in old Chenia town, close to the harbor. The staff were very friendly. Elizabeth with the breakfast buffet, was especially warm and helpful with travel tips and suggestions. Thank you so much! As you made our stay very comfortable!!

Amazing Location & Great Value

We really enjoyed our stay in the suite at Elia Palatino. Reception is in a sister hotel a couple doors down and it is staffed 24 hours which was great. We were able to safely store our luggage until our room was ready, and we could pop in at any point to ask questions or get help with anything. The room itself was nicely appointed and the balcony views of the harbor were beautiful. My only complaint is that we went to use the wine glasses and discovered they were dirty and unwashed. We ended up using the water glasses instead.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the most ideal location for a first time traveler like myself. All of the staff were very nice and helpful throughout my stay! I had a one bedroom king suite (3rd floor, so yes there are some stairs!) with a private balcony overlooking the harbor. Absolutely stunning views! The town itself is very walkable and the Elia sits from and center directly on the Chania Harbor! If you were looking at this hotel, don’t second-guess it and just book it you won’t regret it!

Our stay in Chania was the most memorable part of our two week trip to Greece and this hotel was part of that amazing experience! We had a clean, beautiful room with a port view in front and were able to step right into the alleys and excitement when we walked out the back. Breakfast was amazing and just a few short steps down a pretty alley from this hotel. Staff was all helpful and friendly. I would 100% recommend staying here! ♥️

Stayed at this hotel in late September on our return from a stay on the south coast. Great location overlooking the Venetian harbour in the old town. We booked a deluxe room with balcony and sea view, I feel we had one the smaller versions of this room grade (called Lord) after inspecting the photos on the hotel website. The room was a little jaded but the bed was large & comfortable, clearly the room has a high occupation rate and it shows. Given that it promotes itself as a 'boutique' hotel we found very few 'boutique' features - maybe the bathrobes help to qualify its 'boutique' status? Sadly 'boutique' is a very over-used and miss-used word these days, perhaps 'shabby chic' would be a more fitting description. The room had a small coffee machine but only 2 coffee pods and no milk or coffee whitener. The young man who checked us in provided a small jug of fresh milk and was apologetic about the amount of coffee pods supplied adding that it was company policy not to offer more than 2 and added that the hospitality tray would not be refreshed during our 2 day stay - not very 'boutique'! The bathroom desperately needs a refurbishment. Black grouting in the shower base suggests a poor cleaning regime along with mould in the toothbrush beaker, yuk! Towel rail fell apart when I put the towels on it!, is this 'boutique'? Reception desk was manned by staff whose attitudes ranged from not bothered to helpful.

Hotel didn't fulfil our request for the arrangements of the beds even though we asked for well in advance. And they didn't communicate about this. They also didnt do anything to compensate this. The hotel personel was kind and helpful. But the hotel management was just ignorant.

Lovely room with the most incredible views from the balcony. Considering how loud and busy the harbour is the sound proofing muffled it well, but I’d still recommend ear plugs for sleeping. Breakfast is a short walk away and has a nice buffet with absolutely lovely staff. The front desk is a few doors up at the sister hotel, and again the staff are very helpful and welcoming. Housekeeping was superb, do remember to pop a sign on the door so they know you’re ready for the room to be serviced. Be warned that the stairs are wooden and lots of them given the age and nature of the building! So many amazing places to eat so very close by, and a little supermarket just round the corner. There’s noise in the morning when all the delivery vans arrive for the waterfront businesses, but not too early- you’ll be up anyway looking at the sun on the gorgeous harbour from the balcony!

The view was amazing and we had a large balcony. It was in the heart of old town and we had easy access to everything. Only thing negative was the wi-fi was slow but with the amazing view we did not mind. Breakfast was good. We would stay there again.

Property was clean and accessible to old town Chania. It is a great location and the view of the harbor was wonderful. We were in the "Duke" room which was more spacious than the "Lord" room my son rented. There is no elevator at the property, You must climb stairs and if you rent a car there is no parking associated with the property. Street parking is crowded and limited

Great choice for old town Chania Harbor stay.

Great place to stay on the old town harbor front. Everything was great, and even though we arrived late, they came back to check us in. Hot showers, comfy bed, and a balcony to watch the people on the harbor. We would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay. There is no parking close, but a garage and street parking is a few blocks away.

Beautiful place and overlooking olde town harbor and restaurants. The room was the size of three rooms and had a large jacuzzi. The balcony was great to sit and people watch and watch the sunset. We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Chania!
