My wife and I were staying at the Plaza Di Pietro for two nights and we were regretting that we didn’t get another few days there. Nice location, very friendly staff, and the room was very beautiful.
Definitely I would recommend this place if you’re going to Crete.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was extremely comfortable, the air-conditioning worked perfectly. Had a beautiful balcony to look out of. And it was very clean with daily treats, being left and flowers on our pillows. The staff was extremely helpful with information on where to eat, where to go for the best beaches and information on the areas .Very friendly, very helpful. However the best part, was the queen of the castle Voula the cat!
Would recommend Palazzo di Pietro to anyone!!!! What a fantastic place to stay.
The location is perfect, very close to the harbour, yet very quiet. The room was extremely clean and staff provided housekeeping daily. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond, providing us with an umbrella and beach towels for the duration of our stay. On our last day, we were catching a late ferry, and the staff were happy to store our luggage for us.
10/10 experience! Can’t say enough good things about our stay here!
The welcome was so thoughtful. The owner did not just hand us a map and keys. Rather she thoroughly oriented us to the city and its history, told us the regions of the old city to get the best deals on quality products and meals, and was lovely to interact with for our whole stay.
I will begin this review by talking about Eleutheria---what a wonderful hostess and owner! She welcomed us as we arrived--AT THE DOOR. From the very first moment we were treated to excellent Greek hospitality, warmth, and kindness. Even though we arrived late in the evening, around 8:30 p.m., she was waiting and immediately took out a map, explained the city, the good restaurants, the best places for pictures, highlights of the city, etc. She is marvelous. Another staff member, Roxana, was extremely helpful, friendly, and kind.
The building feels like home. Each room is very large, uniquely decorated, and finished with many thoughtful touches from the fruits and water waiting for you to the cotton balls in the bathroom. There is such attention to detail that you feel that this is home rather than a cold, contemporary hotel. The rooms are very traditional with old heavy furniture, beds with drapes, and lovely modern bathrooms.
The location is absolutely fantastic--near to stores, good restaurants, the main square, etc.. However, the hotel is very quiet, and I slept like a baby. Added to the location is another plus: the rooms are immaculately clean.
I could wax on and on about this beautiful boutique hotel, its charm, its warmth, and its fantastic staff, but you should experience it yourself!--What are you waiting for?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
Absolut empfehlenswert!
Beautiful boutique style hotel.
Owner very lovely and helpful.
Room was very spacious and clean and amenities were great with lovely little personal touches from the owner.
Would definitely stay again and recommend
I see no reason why this place would be rated less then a 10. Fantastic staff, beautiful authentic structure, decorated to suit the originality and likely the best location one can ask for.
As a traveller, every now and then you come across a place that feels like home. Speaking for myself. this has been one of them.
A beautiful room in a historic centuries old building. Clean and comfortable with careful attention to every detail. The location was right in the heart of the old city. The owner is a great lady willing to help or provide information. The worst thing about our stay was that we couldn't stay longer.
Rooms are well appointed and location is great but the age of the building shows. Any one even steps on the floor next to or above your room and it can be heard very loudly. Also, there is no street parking here. The website is not accurate. You have to park you car elsewhere and get your luggage here
No words can describe the hospitality of the owner, Eleutheria..The hotel was absolutely spotless, right in the middle of the old town with restaurants, shops and everything in between.
Highly recommend this place! our stay was amazing and we are very grateful to have met such a perfect host! Thank you!😊
The kitchenette had everything you need to make a light meal. The room was spacious and very clean. The room had AC which was surprising! Excellent location for exploring Chania. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful oasis to enjoy a glass of wine and unwind. I would stay again without hesitation.
Palazzo di Pietro is a hidden gem - a delightful property with many fascinating elements. It's spotlessly clean. The owner, Eleutheria, was extremely welcoming and helpful, and gave great guidance for interesting things to do, places to eat etc. There were many small touches which made our stay wonderful - we would definitely want to stay here again if re-visiting Chania.
We had a wonderful stay. The service and location are both excellent. We hope to be back again someday. I also want to thank you for your help before our arrival regarding parking our vehicle. Parking just outside the historical walking district was complicated for us, and your guidance made things much easier by directing us to the nearest free parking.
We loved this hotel! We actually extended our stay for an additional day. This hotel only has 7 rooms and Eleutheria and the ladies who prestar this hotel were amazing! Be advised that there is no parking around this hotel as it's in the pedestrian district of Old Town Chania so do your research about parking beforehand! Also, there is no elevator so I would advise not taking a large suitcase (as I did). I really felt like I was staying in someone's home here and I can't recommend this hotel enough! We rented a car but it stayed parked the whole time as everything is walkable. Also, Greece has lots of cats! If you're allergic, be prepared.
