"We loved being able to have a view of the Lake from our room. The check-in staff was so friendly and enthusiastic, great energy! We found the room a little small overall for something that was higher priced than normal, and it was tricky to move along the side of the bed on the window side, and although it was great that the bathroom was en-suite, it was so tiny and a bit too near the bed. The breakfast was fine, with a good range of items to choose from a self-serve counter, helped the day off...

"Hotel is located close to the center city and lake which is nice and it has parking on site at a reasonable rate. The web site for the hotel does not indicate you need to use a different address to get there is you are using Google maps (which the desk staff is clearly aware of) so it was frustrating to drive around for an extra half hour trying to get there. The desk staff was somewhat dismissive and off putting but the hotel itself was nice."

"Room was fine but only 1 spot to put a bag on and the bathroom was very narrow (My husband said his knees hit the wall when he sat on the toilet.) with a shower that was extremely small. I had to turn off the water to soap up and then turn it back on to rinse off. Breakfast was good."

"Spent one night here as a solo traveller. I was expecting a basic room, which would have been fine. But, I do expect the amenities to work. The shower head wouldn’t stay up and as the cubicle was so small it was also impossible to shower especially as I kept burning my arm on the shower mains due to the size. "Our stay was beyond anything we could have expected! Highly recommend booking here, if not for the chance to sleep in a castle, then for the warmest welcome and the most attentive to detail in all the things. "

"We loved this Hotel. It’s a little quirky as it was a very old building so narrow halls with different sized ceilings and spiral staircases. But we loved it as it was close to everything and the rooms were spotless and well maintained, the ceilings high in the rooms and the staff was amazing. 5 star hospitality for a lovely and interesting 3 star hotel."
