"Castle House stands in the grounds of a small castle. It has an electric gated entrance and there are CCTV cameras everywhere - even on the hot tub. The property has recently gone through renovation and is very modern and well maintained throughout. TVs in bedroom 1, lounge and kitchen with full Sky packages, Kitchen has everything you need and hot tub and sauna were an excellent addition. Beds were very comfortable. "We didn’t have hot water for the whole of our stay. We were told it would come back on after the first day and it did not. The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking. Dog friendly but if you don't have dogs, don't worry, there is absolutely no sign dogs have ever been in the rooms, no lingering dog smells etc. I've stayed here twice and on the second stay was in a room facing the road. I'm a light sleeper but wasn't woken by the traffic at all. There's no Aircon in the rooms but you are provided with a fan so be aware if you run hot. "We stayed 1 night and did not use any of the facilities or eat there. The room we stayed in was great. A really comfortable super kibg sized bed, massive wslk in shower, good tea and coffee facilities in our room. It was quiet, so we had a good nights sleep (just what we wanted). I would stay again. "
