"I was kept fully informed of the check-in procedure (there si no desk), room information and even warnings about local road closures by email from Karen.
The room was marvellous; clean, spacious and with a very shiny bathroom. The bed was the best I've slept in for ages and the quiet made for an excellent night's sleep. A lovely touch was the porridge pot and pain au chocolat left out for breakfast.
The setting is spectacular; high above Sowerby Bridge with stunning views across the valley. "

"The setting is beautiful and the staff amazing. We took our 2 Spaniels with us and stayed in a dog friendly suite. Room was huge and surprisingly warm considering it was a converted Castle.
