"The front desk clerk on day shift was super helpful and friendly. She recommended restaurants and things to do on the island. Night shift clerk wasn't nearly as friendly. There is very little parking at the hotel and it is tight, not good for big vehicles. Most parking is one street over in the overflow lots. The cleaning staff woke us up well before 8 am talking extremely loud in the hallway repeatedly, not just once. At home we get up early and prefer to be able to sleep in on vacay. It's a great location and you can walk to all the restaurants and shops easily. For the price, we probably will rent a condo next time as the hotel is really old and while clean, is a bit run down."

"The room was dirty. There is no carpet but the floors were so dirty, my feet were black if I walked barefoot out of bed. The toilet and shower were clean but the walls and floor of the bathroom were not clean. The parking is ridiculous, I saw 3 cars run into walls or poles under the building and then we got a parking ticket for parking on the street. Two out of 3 staff were nice. The first counter person in the hotel told us we could pay $100 to check in 30 minutes early upon arrival. There was a wrestling match going on next door and it was soooo loud but they could not accommodate us in another room on the other side of the hotel. All in all the pictures are deceiving. The hotel is not nice!"

"This is the third time we have stayed here to start an annual vacation in the Charleston area. The hotel was great on our first stay and still is. Our room had a slick design and was very comfortable. The hotel’s location is convenient for eating and shopping in Mount Pleasant, but also allows easy access to Charleston by car. It is also fairly priced."

"Overall grade for the price point a C. Toilet was too low and continuous ran unless unless you played with the handle. Water was turned off from 10pm to 4am for a maintained issue. No Water. Walls had coffee or shmuchs on it in the bedroom. Front desk staff were hard to find. This was a convenient locations for Boone Hall and the Isle of Palm."

"We made an excellent choice in staying at this location. All the employees were friendly, especially the front desk staff and Isabella in the breakfast buffet area. The buffet had a good variety and was well maintained. We were able to walk nearby to the Town Center for shopping and restaurants. "
