"This is the third time we have stayed here to start an annual vacation in the Charleston area. The hotel was great on our first stay and still is. Our room had a slick design and was very comfortable. The hotel’s location is convenient for eating and shopping in Mount Pleasant, but also allows easy access to Charleston by car. It is also fairly priced."

"Thin walls. Heard neighbors talking on their phones (it was loud and had trouble sleeping), dogs and kids running upstairs, toilet activity, yuck. Plan for atleast one hour if you want to take a shower since the shower head is tiny and has very very low water pressure."

The buffet had a good variety and was well maintained. We were able to walk nearby to the Town Center for shopping and restaurants. "

"Staff at breakfast did not speak English. Breakfast cost $15 per person. So i had to pay $30 for grandsons to eat a bowl of cereal. Breakfast was not served. You had to get it. It was cold. Not a big selection. Most crucial thing is always have staff that speaks English. The maid also spoke no English."

Upon arrival, I had to immediately request a room change because the first room I was assigned had not been cleaned at all. While I appreciated being moved, the second room still did not meet basic cleanliness standards. "I loved the old school vibe with the urban style incorporated into it. I think they did well captivating the original 1960’s feeling while also being very up to date. The vibe quite honestly reminded me of the old TV show, the Jetsons(unfortunately there are no flying cars). On top of the wonderful service and nice clean vibe, they were also one of the best options in the area in terms of cost. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely be staying here again when I find myself in the area."

"The front desk clerk on day shift was super helpful and friendly. She recommended restaurants and things to do on the island. Night shift clerk wasn't nearly as friendly. There is very little parking at the hotel and it is tight, not good for big vehicles. Most parking is one street over in the overflow lots. The cleaning staff woke us up well before 8 am talking extremely loud in the hallway repeatedly, not just once. At home we get up early and prefer to be able to sleep in on vacay. ...
