Room smelled like a wet dog. There was pet hair on the floor. No remote control for the TV. The AC worked and there was hot water. Room service staff just burst into our room in the morning around 9:30am. Towels were stained and worn. Its a place that is rough around the edges but an effort is being made to improve it.

Check in was easy and front desk person helpful however the room smelled so badly of strong cleaning solution. Gave me a headache, we left after one hour being there with the door open for air. Got a refund. And this loud next to a busy road.

It is a beautiful property, with a pool, little dock and fishing. The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly. It's an older place but I like it!

Room was clean but had issues. Remote would not work and when I tried to shower the handle blew off the shower and was blowing water everywhere. Could not take a shower. Was glad I wasn’t in the shower or it would have hit me. Waiting on a response from the manager as I checked out on Saturday and she was not available.

This is the only place we stay in Charleston. We have to go to MUSC frequently. The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable and go above and beyond to make your stay special. Love, love, love it!
