"Rapport qualité/prix sans surprise, la chambre était "dans son jus": descente de lit élimé, ampoule grillé, tuyau percé à la baignoire, mitigeur mal fixé, lunette des toilettes instable, porte du placard bloquée.
Le revêtement du sol du parking mériterait d'être repris( pavés non scellés et de différentes hauteur).
Petite attention pour le client: un ventilateur a été mis à disposition pour la chambre non climatisé."

Spotless rooms. decor was a bit old though and bizarrely, apart from one hook on bathroom door there were no hooks to hang towels ! A small fridge in the room would be good, along with maybe actual glasses instead of disposable plastic covered paper ones. Finally the shower connected to the tap with no fixing on the wall is a really BAD idea and impossible to have a proper shower! Loo paper dispenser was more akin to petrol station WC that a hotel.

This is the second year that we’ve stopped here on our way from Cherbourg to the South of France. Great little rustic hotel, with the buildings being set around an open courtyard where breakfast is served (in good weather, else served indoors). Hosts are very helpful and - if you warn them in advance - will try hard to allow for any food allergies you make them aware of. Floor fans are provided in the room during warm weather. Definitely worth a stay if you’re heading this way.

Beautiful setting and Edouard and Alexandra were amazing hosts! They’ve recently refurbished their place to a very high standard and my wife even enjoyed a dip in the swimming pool. Situated right next to a gorgeous chateau, we couldn’t have asked for more for our first night of holiday. If we are travelling this way in the future we shall be sure to stay again.

Amazing stay in this hotel, staying for two nights in their Junior Suite.
Hotel is exceptional, building renovated to a modern standard with architectural and designer items everywhere, inc stunning furniture and quality products throughout.
Grounds are lovely with the hotel perched on the top of Sancerre, overlooking the town and the Loire. You can also get access to the Tour des Fiefs tower which is in the grounds.
Our room was spacious, well designed and quality throughout. Breakfast was good...

We booked to go and do some wine tasting in the region. We booked with Nicole and were not disappointed, a beautiful French house, great hostess who did everything she could for us. Nicole arranged dinner, a private wine testing and parking during our stay. Would 100% recommend and we will be back in years to come for the hospitality and wine.

This hotel is a few steps from the Palais de Jacques Coeur which is a fascinating visit.It is also a short walk to the Cathedral.Moreover there is an excellent restaurant on the doorstep.The breakfast which was fine was included in the room rate.The wifi code is on the room card and is free.
The streets around this hotel are narrow and some are one-way so it is probably better to book a place in the smallish car -park.
