The house was in an excellent location on the shore of Lake Erie. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Omstead's B&B is located at a beautiful waterfront cottage with a scenic view of Lake Erie. Private beach and large backyard garden are yours to enjoy during your stay. The backyard is facing east so it is also a perfect location to experience sunrise. With warm-hearted hosts serving gourmet breakfast, you will enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable stay of your trip. There is nothing to complain. We'd like to thank Margo and Keith for their wonderful hospitality and hope to stay in their lovely cottage again during our next trip.

Anniversary Trip

This was the greatest chance find I’ve ever made. Had been looking for a place to stay in the region, but nothing was available at a reasonable price. This BnB has a mystical feel to it, very serene and peaceful. You are dotted on from the moment you arrive, but not smothered. It feels like going to visit your favourite aunt and uncle for a night, or for however long you stay.

Great bed and breakfast, hosted by the Omsteads. The vintage decor is supported by great modern touches (lights in the right places), and an amazing location on the shores of Lake Erie. The breakfast is a highlight - great coffee, amazing, freshly made food and a great combination of fresh flavours. Margo and Keith are great local hosts, who treat you like family. You arrive as strangers and leave like great friends.

The location was perfect, on the shore of Lake Erie. There’s several areas outside to rest and visit by the lake. The hot breakfasted were out of this world! And the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Margot and Keith are the quintessential hosts. They have a wonderful home and they have an amazing backyard and patio that hugs Lake Erie's shoreline. The breakfast would win a prize in a gourmet cooking magazine. My wife and I have travelled around the world and this is, by far, without a doubt, the VERY BEST BNB we have ever stayed at. Thank you Margot and Keith for making our stay so relaxing, so welcoming and so easy. We will stay with you again, that's for sure!

A fantastic and unique experience! The property is located right by the water with incredible view of Lake Erie, stunning night sky, the milky way and gorgeous sunrise. Margo has a world of knowledge on everything and was the friendliest host I ever have at a B&B. We were treated with such attentiveness, from bringing us quilts while we sat outside to leaving flashlight & bug spray knowing that we planned to stargaze in the middle of the night. The breakfast, oh the breakfast! Five star food with five star service! Just the food she served at breakfast is enough reason to stay there!! Love to go back!

This was the best b&b experience we have ever had. Margo and Keith were very welcoming hosts, and their home was so lovely and comfortable, with a beautiful view right on the lake (the pictures on here do not do it justice!). And oh my gosh - the food! Margo is an excellent cook, her breakfasts were unbelievable. Everything was just so lovely, we did not want to leave. We will definitely stay at the Omstead’s on Erie B&B if ever we are back in the area.

Amazing host!! The breakfast is simply divine. This property is conveniently access to restaurants, wineries and Point Pelee National Park. The BnB is located on the shoreline with a superb view, where can you get a more beautiful sunrise! Both Margo and Keith is wonderful, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!
