Beautiful lakeside view. Loved the terrace and rocking chairs. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the food at the onsite dining restaurant was top notch. Very comfortable lounge with fireplace. Would rate our stay a 10 out of 10.

The view of the lake was amazing and the breakfast was awesome too! The only complaint we had was that our room wasn’t ready when we arrived and we had to wait about 30 minutes, but everything else was fantastic!

The views are exceptional. The rooms are comfortable. Friendly staff. Hotel needs some window cleaning - very dirty especially when you’re supposed to be enjoying the beautiful view from every floor. The food at restaurant was not good at all - for dinner, out of 4 meals, 3 were inedible. Breakfast is fine. Christian environment - alcohol is not served there.

We stayed for a long weekend while my daughter had a lacrosse tournament in Asheville. We were able to have a delicious breakfast each morning, swim in the pool, and even paddle boarded one afternoon. It was a great weekend. The view from a lakeside room is awesome!

I have stayed at the Terrace many times for many years. It's always an enjoyable stay. One thing that is consistent over the years is the Internet is terrible. With an access point in our room the Internet was less than 10mb. In 2026 that's terrible. Other than than that the Terrace is a nice place to stay. The view of the lake is wonderful. That is why we return.

Our room was unclean. Hair all over the bathroom and dirt on the floor. We had a large centipede in our room and when we asked for housekeeping to clean and maintenance to remove the insect, we were told we were not a priority as there were 2 weddings happening. We checked out after only 2 of our 4 nights. Amy C. Who is a front desk employee was so kind and empathetic and saw to a refund of the nights we did not stay. All other staff were extremely uncaring and unwilling to help the situation. Property management should look into natural and necessary upgrades such as new windows, and should hire staff who have been trained properly in hotel cleanliness and expectation.

There was black mold on my bathtub. Both sink and tub were clogged and you had to shower on 1 foot of water. I requested refill of shampoo both days and never got it. The window glass seals had failed in all windows, and with condensation we had water dripping into the carpet from every window!!! Plus there was a cobweb the size of my hand in one of them. Breakfast was mediocre at best and very cold (I guess warmers not on or not working). Needless to say, I don’t think we will be back unless there is a major renovation. One the other side, all employees I interacted with were very nice.
