"The breakfast taco was delicious. It was an omelet inside a warm crispy tortillas. So good! Plus fresh fruit was served. This was served on an open air porch/patio with comfy overstuffed chairs with a mountain. All made to order. Hosts were very friendly. Each room had 2 rocking chairs out front. What an enjoyable stay! Highly recommend this inn."

"This is the second stay here since new ownership. Not much change. Staff not as friendly. That's due to not knowing them for 10 years like the previous staff. So I expect that. The property is still in need of maintenance. The receptacle at the sink didn't work for coffee maker. GFI wouldn't reset. Tv cutting out. Still the best balcony to set at on the river. They are doing some work there with trash container in lot, so they deserve a chance to do better. It takes time. Been coming there a...

"This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. The room was in very poor condition—there was no hot water, the shower and toilet were both broken, and overall the place felt run down and poorly maintained. On top of that, there was no smoke detector, which is a serious safety concern. And I even stated it to the staff and basically gotten brush of about it. This property clearly lacks basic upkeep and attention to guest safety and comfort. I would not recommend staying here, and I...

"Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. "

"Step back 105 years and sink yourself into a time of relaxation and small town charm. The Calhoun House has all the modern comforts but a real yester-year feel. Ed is a great historian and host and makes you feel at home, and we did.....stayed an extra unplanned night too!"
