"A beautiful hotel with well‑trained staff, but I don’t understand how guests are expected to stay there without air conditioning on hot days like 23–24 June. I have stayed a couple of times and I genuinely like the hotel and the staff, but I believe the hotel should not operate during very hot days if adequate cooling is not provided."

"Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good except for putting green leaf over everything! Should be optional.
Room was clean, but could have topped up teabags every day, and only had biscuits on the first day."

"Good spa, nice breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel has easy parking and check in was good. They weren’t able to manage a 30 minute extension on the room which was disappointing. The food and service in the bar was excellent."

"Decent hostelry with comfortable room and good breakfast. Puzzling shortage of mains specials when we sat down to order @ 630pm for our evening meals. Hard working managers both evening and morning.
