First of all, we desperately needed a place to sleep. That being said, we made our reservation through Expedia 2 hours before our arrival for a king size bed. When we arrived our room wasn't ready yet so they asked us to wait for 2 hours, this was at 8pm. They told us they would call when our room was ready.....they did not. When we went into the lobby there was a couple who had been waiting since 6pm for their room.We finally were able to secure a room, many did not and had their reservations cancelled even though the websites continued to say their rooms were available. We walked over piles of trash and past rooms full of storage stuff. When we got to our room by 10pm, The room reeked of a very stro g cleaning solutions. The TV was broken, no microwave, no fridge. We got a room with 2 full beds instead of the king. One of the beds had a finger nail under the sheets. We would have left but every hotel in town was booked and we couldn't drive after dark. Painters tape was still on some of the walls. The floor and most of the surfaces were dirty except the sink,toliet area but no hand soap.
