We arrived early in the day and we didn’t have to wait long to get into our room, which was perfect after our long flight. The hotel staff is very helpful. Room was smaller but very well equipped. Breakfast was quick and filling. Location was perfect. Highly recommend!

Pastell is a perfect hotel if you are staying in Chiang Mai for a few days. It is out of the main busy areas so it is more quiet, if that is important to you as it was for us. The coffee and breakfast are complimentary and excellent quality. The staff is kind and accommodating.

The hotel is lovely and simple, with very good service. However, perhaps because our room was on the ground floor next to the pool, it was quite damp and had a noticeable musty smell. Unfortunately, that made our stay a bit less pleasant.
