The nightclub directly below my room blasting music and rattling the things in the wall did not make for a good stay. When I complained I was told to use ear buds by the property. When I asked to be moved the property stated the nightclub is a “standard feature” and stated they had no where to move me to. This is a Marriott branded hotel, they have plenty of rooms. Expedia did help with putting my refund in one key cash so I didn’t have to be out the money while waiting for a refund and having to book a new room on a holiday weekend. If you stay here be warned that the club is open thru-sat and your sleep will be very much disrupted!

Me encantó el hotel. Es muy moderno, cómodo y limpio. Me volvería a hospedar sin duda alguna. El hotel está muy céntrico para poder transportarse a los lugares turísticos de Chicago. Los fines de semana puede haber ruido por fiestas alrededor pero ya que llegamos cansados no molesta y se duerme muy bien. Me tocó una cama que no era tan firme. Por todo lo demás excelente lugar.

Terrible management. The water was shivering cold and lukewarm at best, and when I mentioned it, a staff member dismissed me by saying, “it’s good enough to shower in,” even though I was freezing. The AC/heat didn’t work either. The place was dirty, and the staff couldn’t have cared less. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone.

Not entirely sure why there’s so many bad reviews!! My stay was wonderful maintenance/support replied immediately, so many walkable restaurants and diners nearby!! Absolutely loved my stay!!! Will be staying here again!

The room was gorgeous. Didnt like that the AC wasn't fixed when they said they would fix it. Which made the room uncomfortable to sleep.

Ojo. Todo maravilloso pero el elevador no funcionaba. Y no se veía que fuera temporal que ya lleva tiempo así. El tema es al subir las maletas. Fácil de caminar al centro después de 30 min. accesible. O usar 2 estaciones de metro. En la esquina del lugar está un bar, que si puede ser ruidos los viernes y sábado. Nada exagerado. Puedes cocinar y lavar ropa en tu misma habitación. Una joya.

First impression was not great. Broken elevator (has been for months according to reviews) and we were on the fourth floor (annoying after walking for miles and miles). The room really needs a paint job and a new rug, but was otherwise very clean. Super comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. The wash/dry laundry was trying to twist itself to death and was incredibly loud. Walls were thin could hear neighbors. The blinds were lacking. Woke up to the sun shining directly on my face despite the blinds being closed. Would have liked some curtains to cover the cracks. The gap under the door was quite large and leant to a feeling of no privacy.

Booked 2+ months in advance. Checked both their website and Expedia to ensure rooms were avaliable. They cancelled our booking around 11:30am the day of our 2-day stay and did not communicate this with Expedia. Instead, sent us an email that they overbooked their rooms and ours was cancelled. We spent 3 hours looking for another hotel in the area with no luck as our event had drawn a crowd. Sonder really didn’t know they overbooked until day of or did they just want to jack up their prices and give our room out? Either way, poor communication and poor experience. Day of people...come on. By the way, there is a club in their building and it was loud an crowded at all hours. Our event was next door so we could still check out the scene.

Great place to stay, excellent location. Only downside is elevator was out so climbing to the 4th floor was tough each time, especially with luggage. Should be fixed soon and will be staying here again for sure
