"Booked through Expedia. Arrived and was told my booking was cancelled. I had no indication of this by Expedia. Ended up frantically looking for a room in Chicago in the middle of the night. Very bad experience"

"This is the second and the last time I stay at the Palmer. I like the proximity to certain landmarks and the beds were comfy but other than that, the bathroom wasn't clean, there was a lot of hair in the tub, the shower faucet handle was filled with black scum on the inside. There was also a piece undone metal on the bottom of the vanity that scraped my kid's foot. There was no complimentary coffee/tea which added to the disappointment. I was too tired to ask for a different room with 2 kids...
