"If I could create my own hotel it would be this one. It was the perfect place for us. Our room had a spectacular view. It was a spacious corner room with a pleasant balcony overlooking sail boats and yachts in Penobscot Bay.
The lobby was equally impressive, creatively designed allowing for numerous paintings by talented local artists where we enjoyed both tea and a glass of wine during our stay. We will be back. "

"The rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious, the hosts were courteous, thoughtful, and kind. The motel is about an eight minute walk to a small park with a cute Pebbly Beach, and the motel is just a short walk into town. The rooms I stayed in had a small refrigerator, coffee makings, and a hair dryer. I very much enjoyed staying there and would like to stay there again."
"We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience! Gary and James were very helpful and had tons of information about the area. Our room was very clean and I love that it was built in the 1800’s. We never had a day where we weren’t busy. We really enjoyed the breakfast and we walked to town almost everyday.
