Booking mismatch

The grounds of this place are very nice and the staff were very friendly. Here is the but… A very important thing about this hotel, that should be more clear in the information upon booking is that this hotel caters to German travellers. All information and entertainment at the hotel is in German. This is a challenge if you can not speak or read the language. They were very good at giving information on allergens in the food dishes, but when everything is written in German it was of little help. Our room seemed to be dated and could use a upgrade. The air conditioning was not optimal either. As this was a mismatch for us and the hotel, they were very coopertive in letting us cancel our remaining stay and give a full refund. Very serviceminded here. On our departcher the hotel manager came out and appoligized for the mismatch and wished us a nice vacation. For German vacationers I can see why this hotel scores so high.
