"We used this B&B to spend the day near the lake. There are so many great places nearby. One day was not enough to visit them all. The host will list nearly lovely places to spend the day. Breakfast is included. Some bread, milk, fruit, juice, and local pastries are perfect for a quick start, and let us continue our journey. There is a coffee machine with nice Italian coffee capsules. There is internet and a TV with cable, which you can also use with your Netflix account. We had a great time....

"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."

"Giuseppe and his little bed and breakfast was a breath of fresh air! I recommend staying in a little town near the “main 3” Lake Como cities. Lierna was a perfect place to stay. "The property would have been great only if they picked up our luggage from the bus port. It is high up in the mountain, very difficult to drag your luggage. Not enough warning provided as to how difficult it would be to take your baggage. No taxi, no pick up, I saw other guests who almost cried, dragging their luggage up to the hotel often on narrow oncoming traffic."
