The rating showed a 6.2 but that had to have been before the remodel amd hotel chain buyout. VERY nice hotel, staff and services.

Honestly, I’m not happy because on the Hotels app is showing breakfast and showing pool and Jacuzzi a drive two hours to a soccer tournament for my son and I was thinking after the games to go to Jacuzzi to relax you can even sit on the couches on checking area because they have a big sign where it says not allowed to use it

I reached out to this hotel the day of my reservation also to Expedia because I need to cancel Friday night and still go Saturday the weather did not permit us to travel. I am 5 hours from the hotel. I have stayed here multiple times the past 4 years. The manager gave me the run around, said she was not contacted I spoke to her 4 times in the phone. I drove all the way there Saturday because I was told via chat that hotels.com was going to get my reservation updated. None of that happened I arrived in Chino Hills with my children and was turned away by the manager that didn't"hear" from me or hotels.com (not true) I had to scramble to find a place and spend the money for Hotel Chino Hills AND a new hotel. Being a loyal customer means nothing to this hotel, again I have stayed here atleat 1-2 times monthly. Manager is a liar and lied right to my face knowing she answered my calls the day before, anything for a buck!

It was nice, but it was under construction and it smelled like paint every time i walked through. the bathroom wall was lifting a bit near the sink but overall it was clean and a nice stay.

The hotel was having a major renovation. From the name of Chino hotel to Marriott. Only indication was a rubber floor mat at the entrance, which I thought was the wrong hotel. The lobby had plastic all over the lobby furniture. Not inviting. There were construction out front out back and in the hotel. Plastic was on the floor carpeting of the hall where our rooms were, which was folded and unsafe to walk. No breakfast. All of what was noted when we booked. We stayed 3 nights and all 3 nights the fire alarms went off between 8:30-9:00 pm. our nephew got scared and we were startled and awoken. How can that happen 3 days in a row? The rooms had some stain on the couch the showers did not have the containers for the shampoo , soap etc. just the brackets, there were still drywall patches in the bath ceiling and the door to bath was falling off. No Blow dryer, iron, iron board or hangers were in the room. no extra blanket or pillows. When we called on the second day of the alarm, the staff did not even apologize. Total dissappointment for the 3 days we were there.

Bad bad bad!

Under repair, remodeling whatever. We were never notified when we booked our stay. It never said that on the website. People at the want to be front desk said it was and continued to argue with us that it was. It wasn’t the case. The pictures on the website showed a completely different picture than what we saw. Nothing was available like stated. Lobby wasn’t even ready for guests, rooms were barely nice. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Wires hanging out everywhere, construction workers everywhere with hazards everywhere. No pool like shown, no breakfast like shown. Overall awful stay. Very unhappy.

The facility was not adequate. It was still under construction. Breakfast was not provided like advertised on your application. Couldn't find ithe hotel because the name was changed or was called a another name before. And there was no information in regards to the name change. There was no shower curtain and staff had to bring one and put it in.
