"Stayed here one night each time while transiting anchorage this past week. The first time the room was not even ready with old towels lying and the bed not made. On the second occasion, the room was dirty - it had used washcloths that were not removed, stains on the bathroom floor, stains on the curtain, terrible amenities (basic body wash, soap - either unavailable or very low quality, with the hand wash in a bottle that was relabeled with a sharpie!!!!), toilet old/stained, and to top it all...

"Carol has an amazing place by the lake which is cozy and homely. Very friendly, accommodating and goes above and beyond to help. The breakfast was great. The other guests were amazing and friendly. Some of the best conversations :) Sadly we were there only for 1 night. We are definitely going to visit again, when in Alaska"

"The staff is super nice. Delicious super hot coffee parking for big rigs is nice and spacious there.This is the second time we stayed there in a week however, the shower happened to be pretty cool temperature on our second stay"
