"Great area to stay. Nice walk from train station. The checkin was at another hotel and we had to backtrack to checkin. Walkable safe area. We were near restaurants, coffee shops, live music, shopping and historical sites."

"A wonderful stay in Parma!
I really enjoyed my stay at La Casa del Vino. The room was beautiful, and the bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of restaurants and the city’s main attractions.
Communication with the host was also great – friendly, helpful and responsive throughout my stay.
I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Parma!"

Simple rooms, but clean and nicely decorated.
Breakfast was pretty good & the restaurant had a nice feel to it. Would stay again when I’m next in the area.

A very convenient one-night stay. Our room was spacious , well equipped and spotless. Self check-in made arrival extra smooth despite the late time, Breakfast was very good, staff kind and helpful. We only stayed for one night on our way to the coast but it felt like the perfect place to discover the region around .

Our last hotel on our trip, so we went for comfort rather than quaintness. Its modern architecture would be out of place near the old town, so it's a bit of a walk there - but only 10-15 mins. Has its own area in the adjacent underground car park, free. Right next to railway station but no noise.
Parma not all that interesting: grim Piazza della Pace, dull duomo, interesting pink marble baptistry, quite lively youth culture. Best place to sample prosciutto (more succulent than from Tesco) and...

I don't think we've ever met such nice people at a hotel before. Donatella and Julio the owners were amazing. Me and my husband are vegan and I can't have gluten and they bought us things to eat for breakfast. They were helpful and always had a smile. My daughter loved their dogs especially the little one wendy. The hotel rooms were spotless and comfortable and the rest of the hotel had a warmth and openness that reflected the owners. The setting is tranquil and in the countryside but still very...
