"There was an event Sunday night which was incredibly loud and lasted until almost midnight, making it impossible to relax/sleep. Staff once accessible, are very friendly and helpful. Canceling a reservation is very difficult, as they demand a 14 day notice. "I’m bald, and there was HAIR all around my room, especially throughout BOTH beds, sheets and all! Do they even wash the bedding between stays? By the looks of it, NO. There was food or organic matter on the countertops and especially the night stands. I felt WE had to get out room cleaned before we could relax, so that’s what we did. "The cabin has a nice well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds with nice towels and blankets. However, the heating unit downstairs needs repair which was not great as it got really cold the last night of our stay. The fire pit is lovely but the chairs need replacing because they are mostly cracked from the sun and one broke at the back. We communicated with the owner about dead batteries and missing remotes but there was no followup. "
