"Clean room"

"La Quinta in Altoona was clean and generally very nice. There were a few items that could be improved: 1) There was no light on the side of the our room near the bathroom. A floor lamp there would really help. 2) We are older people and were fortunate that we brought along a bath mat. Otherwise the tub (which we used only as a shower) would have been very slick and difficult to get out of. 3) The faucet for the bathroom sink was mounted away from the basin and whenever you used it water bounced...

"It was OK would not stay there again"

"Friendly staff, fairly clean. We were there when there was a bunch of kids so was loud running at night. Overall was decent stay and would stay again. Only knock on them was elevator breaking down with people inside."

"Spacious and clean. Great common area with generous, comfortable seating, fire pit, and grill. Decent breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Worked really well for our team families, even though staff were quite firm when warning about 10 pm quiet time when we checked in."

"This property was the calm in the midst of the storm. The staff was so kind and helpful when it came to assisting us with checking in and finding another night for us in the hotel. All of the staff took their time in answering all of our questions and treated us with so much respect. We are grateful."

"I like that the property was clean and relatively stylish decor. That said, a huge percentage of peopel enjoy a morning coffee with breakfast. A huge percentage of them liek half & half in their coffee, yet there was none. The only thing that was avaiable was sweetened creamer and I do not like sweet coffee. No huge deal, but for your guests.....please just figure a way to make some half & half available."
