"I have walked past Gordon House apartments several times and found it a fascinating heritage property. I have always wanted to stay there. I was not disappointed. It has a calm, relaxing and charming feel to it. Although I was a bit worried about the digital check-in experience, Courteney met me at the Cafe and assisted me to my room with courtesy and enthusiasm. "Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and spacious with a pretty small balcony looking out to pretty trees. Easy access to the tram for a quick trip to the race course for events or city for everything else! "

"The check in was an unpleasant start to the stay. It took us an hour to get our garage key (wrong code provided), get into the room and then park the car in the stacker. This included two trips to the car to unload our luggage and several calls to the staff for help. The staff member was so patient. Unfortunately the phone connection (Telstra) kept dropping out in the garage and later in the apartment.
