"What a wonderful experience staying at the Borland House is! With the quaint, homey feeling of the whole house, to the kindness of the staff. Your stay will absolutely be lovely. Ample towels are provided for the private, spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed decorations are in the bedroom. I was in the Hummingbird Suite. I could see myself living there, it just had everything I needed. I look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"Pretty okay condition. Quiet and safe are. Good for the price! Breakfast however was a massive letdown. I always assumed a continental breakfast would actually involve food. "I booked two rooms for two nights I booked a month ahead of my stay. I called twice to verify my stay. I get there to find out they booked my two rooms on two different floors. When I complained about it the manger told me that it's not a guarantee to get rooms next to each other. "We slept well and our dog approved of his sleep as well. This facility has an indoor pool, however, it is apparently only open "seasonally". Expedia did not disclose this. Cleanliness here was subpar. "An interesting and beautiful historical site. The mansion has been beautifully preserved and simultaneously updated with all the modern amenities needed to be comfortable, including well-equipped bathrooms and comfortable beds. The owners love to make breakfast for the guests so don’t skip that part of the experience. Cornwall itself is a hidden gem and wonderful escape. Enjoy! "
