"Front desk staff told us we would not be able to dine at the restaurant. Kitchen staff and bartender told us otherwise and gladly see us at the bar and provided us for the green game. The room however, was slightly disappointing. The lock on the door was broken and the air conditioner didn’t work. This was the day when the temperature peaked at 110 which made sleeping almost impossible."

"This little lodge was the perfect place for us to stay while exploring the Lamar valley. It is right at the edge of Yellowstone, dinner options were a 1 minute walk, great views, campfire and friendly check-in. The room had everything we needed, was clean, everything worked, good shower and mattress. Not the latest in decoration, but fit perfectly into the setting. From the outside, we could see tools and materials that they are using to continue to fix the property up, but didn’t effect our wonderful stay. I felt the room was much more comfortable than the night we spent in Old Faithful Inn!"
