"The bathroom window was open which meant the bathroom was very cold. The air conditioning was good and the whole area heated up quickly. Otherwise the stay was very good and the restaurantt was quick and tasty."

"Room and bedding seemed to be clean but was itchy all night and had a suspected spider bite on side of face in the morning. Had a room service salad, but chicken was like leather. Upset stomach the following day. Disappointed overall as supposed to be 4.5 star and quite expensive."

"The room was clean and tidy. We did have a good stay at the Halswell and will stay again. A couple of things. One of the lamps wasn't working. We turned the fridge off as it was very noisy and there was no door handle on the outside of our door. These are all minor, and as I said we will stay again."

"We Enjoyed our stay at the Palms Motel, everything was super clean & inviting, not too far to the airport or city. We checked out at 6am to get our flight but it was canceled, I called the Motel to ask if we could come back to stay until 10am and they were amazing, so highly recommend the service here. "Off to the side of CBD which was close to Margaret Mahy for families. We had a great room. Mattress was super comfortable with plenty of space and super quiet. Highly recommend for families. Was a great stay for our short weekend stay in town."
