Residence Inn by Marriott Clearwater Downtown

"This is our go to hotel whenever we go to a concert at Baycare Sound. The location is perfect - a pleasant, short walk to the venue that takes you past a number of restaurants and pubs - and the hotel is always immaculate, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean and staff could not be more accommodating. And a decent breakfast, to boot!"

"The front desk staff is excellent! The maintenance and the housekeeping though, are not good. The rooms are great but lingering smoke/weed smell in some rooms, we had to switch rooms and we tried 2 rooms before we found one that didn’t smell. I do recommend the front desk staff though for being so patient!"

"Newly renovated halls not sure about the rooms though the bathrooms need some attention but it meets your needs. It’s nice to have a little kitchenette. It’s an extended stay place so unless you request towels there is no cleaning service but every 14 days. You can bring your dirty towels to the office and they will provide new ones. My bathroom didn’t look like it was deep cleaned before I checked in. There was hair in the tub drain and pink residue on the shower faucets. Needs better attention to detail."
