Keith, we continue to work with the owners and managers of the club across the street during the few times they are louder than normal. They went overboard during the graduation days and have committed to address this. Sorry that it detracted from your stay in Clemson.

Jeanne, the indoor / outdoor bar on the 3rd floor (The Thomas - our nod to Clemson's land donor in the late 1800's) is a favorite of hotel guests and locals and we're so glad that you enjoyed it on your stay. Hope to see you back with us before too long.

Even before we built the hotel we set the Purpose (training and employing individuals with disabilities) and then partnered with Clemson LIFE to bring the employment piece of their studies to being. Jody, greatly disappointed to hear but know that we just ordered extra blankets to be put in every room (versus calling reception). Wish you had requested a tub because we do have a few (not too many, but we do have a few) and lastly, the coffee / water stations are on each floor. Not sure if we told you this and you didn't see or if you just preferred coffee in the rooms. Although we as a hotel are not happy with an "8", we hope you enjoyed your stay enough to return to The Shepherd Hotel.

Maria, think you mean roll away sleepers. Correct, we don't have roll away beds as our rooms are a little on the small side (boutique hotel) and felt that we needed to preserve the quality of the room. Thank you for the rating and hope to see you back in Clemson.
