"Beds are tiny, but comfortable. Pillows are those square throw pillows and are ridiculous to sleep on. Pool is super clean & very chlorinated. My remote turned the TV on & the volume could be adjusted, but you couldn’t change the channel. Fridge was cold, microwave worked. Breakfast was only available 8-9 am"

"Bad service. Request for non-smoking but gotten a smoking room. Ask to change room but they don't want to help."

"Bed was very comfortable except it was high off the floor...bathroom was dusty around the trim and door and bathroom door was hard to close..didn't look like it had been dusted for awhile...tub was old and had some kind of black stuff on it....outlet by sink did not work so the hairdryer didn't work...ac was good and cool and for the price it was alright."

"Very clean room. Pool well maintained. Staff cheerful and helpful. Breakfast better than expected -- hot sausage and egg biscuits, boiled eggs, waffles, fruit, pastries, bagels, cereal, and oatmeal. Amazing value and it was close to downtown. Glad we stayed here."

"When we checked in the lady was very nice and pleasant. The room was okay somewhat out dated more than expected. The mattress was not comfortable at all. The young man that was there the next morning was not very friendly. The breakfast was not at all what the lady said it was going to be. Hard boiled eggs that were not done, mini sausages biscuits that were still frozen from the box they were dumped out of, gravy made in a coffee pot that was watered down. The young man only had on one glove...

"We were traveling on a budget and this met all of our needs. Our kiddos loved the continental breakfast, the room was sufficient for a young family of 4, and we were exceptionally thrilled when the front desk attendant on Saturday 6/13 opened the pool just a few minutes before 10am so my kiddos could enjoy it while we had the time. My only complaint was that our bathroom sink was very slow to drain but I shared that with staff and feel confident it will be handled."

"I stayed at the hotel from June 20 to 21. The next morning, both my wife and I discovered several itchy, red insect bites on our bodies. I informed the front desk staff and showed them the bites, but the attendant asked no questions and showed absolutely no reaction to what I said."

"The pool was not open, and did not look like it has been open for years. Breakfast was lame. Cereal, Danish, muffin, fruit cup and coffee. Location is great for hikers. Fun little town."

"The lodge is conveniently located less than 10 mins outside of downtown Helen. It’s positioned on a secluded hillside just off the main 2 lane road. The building and decor does feel a bit outdated but adds to the charm. We stayed in the “Family Suite” which was a split level room. It was great having a separate sleeping area from the kids. I’m 6’4 and had to really bend over to get up the stairs in our suite but wasn’t a huge deal for a few days. We were a bit disappointed they didn’t...
