Before checking in, we passed by the Victorian Inn from the highway at night. Our first impression of the beautiful "house" all lit up in lights was in a word 'enchanting'. We arrived late and rang the bell. The lobby was tastefully decorated and particularly inviting. Nick, the night clerk, came out rubbing his eyes and yawning. He promptly checked our credentials and issued room keys. EVERYONE at the property was friendly and professional. Heather and crew took pride in their jobs making sure everything was clean and satisfied every request. After the two nights stay, we decided we needed to book another night. Soooo glad we did , as Nick was gracious and kind enough to upgrade us to the honeymoon suite! Shocked and pleasantly surprised at his over the top gesture. We were mind blown when we entered the suite which had only been occupied by four other renters. LED lights in blue set the mood. New carpet, fireplace, snacks, new bedding, matching towel set and shower curtain in the bathroom all made this stay extra special. It truly felt like we were staying with family. Shout out to you Nick. As we marveled at the unique fixtures, he described in detail how he had personally repurposed an old item to make them. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK! This place and the good folks working here is AWESOME! Thanks again Nick for the hospitality, sense of humor, and the restful nights sleep. We have travelled North and South America, and Europe and this stay is in the top 5!
