I will never stay at a Hampton Inn for the rest of my life. Pool was OOO which was fine other than we were repeated lied to. Our AC in room was not working. First night it was 81 in room. Next morning asked for maintenance while we were out for the day or to be moved. Came back and the new rep had no idea and no one looked at air. They gave me new Room. As we moved into it we realized the room was covered with 30-40 ‘lady bugs’. Three women are not about to stay there. After talking I asked to have the remainder of my stay (3 days) cancel and was refused. To be fair- Expedia was no help either. Never again. I will just go direct thru hotel chains and not 3rd party.

Comfy Stay

I love staying at the Hampton Inn locations when we travel. Overall this property was clean and super friendly. The property is currently under renovations, so some construction things to deal with during the day like dumpsters and construction vehicles. The property did a great job at containing and mitigating construction noise and debris. The bummer of the stay (a 5 night stay) was that our suite was never serviced for clean linens or trash take out. Because we booked through hotels.com, a third party booking, the Hampton Inn was unable to refund or discount any portion of our stay. The food options for the length of stay were decent - there is a small "store" in the lobby that was reasonably priced for snacks and frozen treats. I bring this up as this location seems to be far from areas that have stores or a larger selection of restaurants near by.

Property is undergoing a renovation, which appears to be going well. The primary issue is it is almost impossible to find a staff member. 5 times over three days, I went to the front desk to try to resolve an issue. Could never locate a staff member. Couldn’t find one to get a receipt at checkout (at 8:00 a.m.) either. This also happened the last time I stayed at this property. Staffing is clearly inadequate.

First, staff were nowhere to be found. We arrived around 6 PM on a Friday evening to check in. I stood at the front desk for at least 10 minutes with nobody there. I ended up trying to find a main number to call the property to see if we could get someone to come out and check us in. There were two other times that I went to the front desk during our two nice day for very minor issues. Again, there was no one to be found. I will give the property a break for the lobby area, being disheveled, as they were doing some pretty substantial work. However, the elevators and hallways look like they hadn’t been swept in weeks. The room itself was acceptable. The only issue is the shampoo dispenser that was missing from the shower had never been replaced.
