"Room very dark due to poor lighting. Had chicken red Thai curry in the restaurant however there was large chucks of aubergine which were quite bitter. I have never had a Thai dish with that and wasn’t expecting it. There was an odour from the floor too which wasn’t pleasant. "

"This is a superb hotel I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved that they served the hot breakfast to your table and the food both dinner in the bar and breakfast In the restaurant were piping hot and delicious. Bedroom was spacious. Warm and comfortable. I totally recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again. "

"We stayed here for a local wedding and it was fabulous, friendly staff and great food. The rooms were very spacious and the power shower was to die for. A big Thank you to all the staff G&T "

"Just a warning, the snug is behind the bar owned by the same family. There’s a small driveway at the end of the bar a hairstyle place and some other little shops. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The rooms were huge and the bathroom is very nice and all brand new. In the morning we did have some toast and tea and it was nice to have the availability of fruits and vegetables and yogurt and so on for the free breakfast the host was very nice."

"Lovely hotel staff all friendly except one would wouldnt let me in my room to leave my luggage until i put deposit down for my dogs which where in my car also i wasnt aware of spa and other things in hotel"

"Safe and clean. Eclectic feel. Docked Two points because the doors and walls are paperthin. Can hear everything. I also ended up in disabled room which I didn't book. Also no "reception." If you need help after hours on a holiday think again "
