"I stayed in an economy room which was clean and i knew would not have a lot of amenities, so in some ways it met my expectations. The location was great and staff was fantastic. However, if you are on the bigger size this may not be the room for you as everything is very compact. I at least expected a table and a chair in the room...got the chair not the table, so you have to sit on the bed if you are eating anything. The layout of the bathroom was also wierd, as the toilet and shower was In a separate room ( as expected) but the sink was next to my bed. This meant when I used the toilet I had exit that room and come to the sink by my bed to wash my hands. Also, breakfast items never change, there is absolutely no variety, not even using the same ingredients but making different dishes on different days! I do have to say the the croissants were magnificent. Also, rolom cleaning can go as late as 5pm, so you return from your tour but your room is not cleaned. I have never experienced room cleaning happening so late. The negatives I mentioned above should not stop you from booking...staff is extremely friendly and quick to respond, the hotel is conveniently located ( 5 min to restaurants etc) and if you are not planning to be in your room for any length of time, the layout can be ignored. The rooftop terrace was also great. I was NOT disappointed in my stay ( hence the 4 stars) but simply giving a realistic review to set expectations for anyone else booking this type of room."

"Property was in an excellent location, just steps away from Place Royale, Petite Champlain, and funicular. Only complaint was the breakfasts, which cost a flat $26 for cold cuts, cereal, juice and croissants. I suggest adding pancakes and bacon. Other than that, an excellent choice of hotel."
